Beyond The Secret
Anxiety is a natural characteristic to be found in all human beings and some levels of it are essential for our survival. It enables us to be wary and cautious in certain circumstances but when it becomes frequent and excessive it can create imbalances to our thinking and our lives.

Anxiety in itself is a response to imbalance, stress and pressure but the more extreme the pressure becomes the more intolerable the resulting anxiety will also be.
It should be made clear that anxiety and depression are two completely different things however they often occur together. Anxiety is a behavioural condition or response while depression is a chemical change that controls mood. Both however can become highly debilitating when left unchecked. This section should not be considered as a replacement for proper professional help and guidance. It is intended to support professional help by providing some general information and practical tips that may be of use in the shorter term.
